Version 11 either does not see this SSD drive at times or sometimes it sees it but it thinks it is not formatted.

Doing anything to this drive with DD or TI just makes it unusable and has to be fixed with DD 10.
What is going on?

TI 11 is not designed to work on W7.
What exact problem are you having with DD 11?

As I said in my first post, neither DD 2011 or TI 2011 can see my SSD drives. Same drives are visible just fine with DD 2010 and TI 2010.

Palo,
1. TI 2011? If you really mean 2011 then that problem needs to be reported in the beta forum again v11 (about 3 years ago) shouldn't be installed on W7 as it won't work correctly.
2. Is this the Windows version or the Linux rescue CD version that isn't reporting the SSD's?

Running the either under windows is no problem but when executed from CD is when the problems come up.

OK, so there is a driver problem with the Linux kernel.
Have you tried downloading the ISO version of the rescue CD? This uses BIOS calls rather than drivers to work.
If you could post the brand and type of SSD you are using it might help Acronis see where the problem lies.

The SSD I am using is Kingstone SNVP325 in Raid 0

Palo,
I think the RAID might be the problem. If you've downloaded the ISO version (it might not exist yet, you'll need to see if there is a tab for it under your account) does that work?

Hello all,
High capacity SDXC memory cards are now pre-formatted with the exFAT file system, as it is lighter in contrast to NTFS and supports file of sizes, more than 4GB. So, if you have an exFAT SD card. In the 'File System' dropdown, choose exFAT instead of NTFS. Click Start and close this window when finished. From then on, that drive should work fantastically between Mac and Windows machines. Part 3: Bonus Tips to Convert “FAT32” to NTFS on Mac and Linux 1. Convert “FAT32” to “exFAT” on Mac. You can easily convert a “FAT32” file system to “exFAT” using the “Disk Utility” option on Mac. Follow the below steps for the following: Step 1: Go to “Applications”-” Utilities” and launch “Disk Utility”. Ntfs or exfat for mac.
Thank you for your posts.
Colin,
Thank you very much for your kind assistance.
Palo,
I will definitely help you with this issue.
I was able to find your case in our internal database and according to the information that I have, there are some errors on your hard drives that can be causing this issue. You were also offered to try a 'custom' version of our bootable media supplied by our Development team. I was wondering by any chance if the 2 suggestions worked?
Please let me know if you have additional questions.

hello,
I bought the acronis disk director 11 home on the 10/10/2010 on your website. I'm on windows7 64bit, running on an ssd intel, and I made an update of my disk director on 11/15/2010.
I would like to clone my os partition on an other disk. So I select my os disk and disk director allow me to copy, convert, verify.. etc, but there is no item 'cloning a basic disk' or 'cloning' or similar. Tehre is only 'copy volume' but it doesn't copy the NT sign.

What can I do? Is my version of disk director 11 home consider as a trial version? But I paid for it!
Is there an other update to do? Please answer my problem, because cloning disk was my biggest need when I bought the software.
Thank you.

Francois,
Could you post some screen snips of what your copy of DD11 is showing?
Are you sure you clicked on the actual disk icon and not the partition by mistake?
When the whole disk is selected you should see the option to clone in two places.
1. Right click on the disk icon and the sub menu should have the clone option available.

2. On the actions and tools panel on the right hand side of the GUI.
How are the disk formatted as basic or dynamic disks?
